As the grandson of a well respected farming family in Odessa, Ontario, Dave's interest for heavy machinery began at a young age; constantly hauling and digging on his family's acreage.
Dave graduated college as a Helicopter Pilot and continued still to sharpen his skills as a machine operator and the owner of Forest Excavation in North Bay.
Although the company in North Bay was greatly successful, Dave's love for Kingston brought him back to the area. Now with a young family, Dave opened DRC Excavating with the hope of instilling the same values of hardwork, resiliency and respect into his son, as his family showed him.
